Luhnar Pickering is a director, photographer and creative director. She is the founder of LuPics Studios, a space where artists, filmmakers,musicians and photographers are celebrated and highlighted. She is inspired by imagery that is multilayered and defines moments that are evocative and kinetic. Her love of storytelling has influenced her to find narrative layers in her images. Luhnar’s two year study at Orms School of Photography developed her creative and technical photographic skills and influences her film work. 

Between Cape Town and Johannesburg, Luhnar continues to capture her environment while carrying her camera with humour, compassion and curiosity.
